Kate has much experience and background in TB racing.
Kate has worked for Henrietta Knight, Jenny Pitman and Nigel Twiston Davies. After trying to train in her own name, unsuccessfully, the opportunity to work for John Gosden at Manton as Racing Secretary for the Sangster family, really made the difference. Kate then transferred to working as P.A for Angus Gold at Shadwell Estate Company Ltd, organising administration and logistics for horses in training and bloodstock sales in France, UK, Ireland, Australia, and South Africa.
Kate learnt so much about taking decisions that work, not only from John Gosden and Angus Gold, but from the rosta of world class trainers that trained racehorses for Sheikh Hamdan, the founder of Shadwell. Trainers such as William Haggas, Mike de Kock, David Hayes, Kevin Prendergast,Sir Michael Stoute, Roger Varian, D K Weld, Ed Dunlop, Marcus Tregoning, Brian Meehan, Simon Crisford and Champion Trainer, Richard Hannon
Kate moved to France in 2016 and became Directrice of Haras de Vieux Pont, a privately owned farm of 21 mares and followers.
Kate has a complete sphere of experience from foal to declared runner in different countries and hemispheres.
Kate loves helping fellow horse professionals by connecting, listening and helping them find solutions. Kate can help farmers and horse people use digital skills that can manage and promote their horse business. Her dogs, gardening, and visiting gardens are the passions that keep Kate busy when she is not with the horses.
